Keystone Cleanroom Products Autoclavable, Self-Sealing Tyvek® bags are an efficient and flexible means of preparing difficult to wrap pharmaceutical production equipment for steam sterilization.
DuPont 1073B Medical Grade Tyvek® can be the best option for heavy equipment parts, or those with sharp edges and corners that will puncture inferior wrapping materials. Tyvek® is an effective bacterial barrier, post sterilization. These bags feature a convenient adhesive strip for consistent and efficient self-sealing. When opened with a sharp cutting instrument, virtually no particulates are generated.
Tyvek® will not absorb or adsorb VHP like medical grade Kraft paper pouches will, which is why Tyvek® pouches are suitable for isolator applications.
